Hoosick Falls Heads Class C North All-Stars

Sectional champion and state semifinalist Hoosick Falls led the all-star voting of Class C North coaches.

Hoosick Falls’ Tanner Williams was named the Class C North Player of the Year and seven other Panthers were named first-team all-stars.

Stillwater placed seven on the first team, followed by Greenwich (five), Tamarac (four), Mechanicville (three), Granville (two), and Corinth (one).

Tamarac's Nick Casale was named Offensive Player of the Year and Mechanicville’s Chris Hatalsky was named Defensive Player of the Year.

3rd ANNUAL CLINIC OF CHAMPIONS – 1/16/12 – RPI ATHLEITC VILLAGE

The 3rd Annual Clinic of Champions will be conducted on Monday, January 16, 2012 at the RPI Athletic Village. Over close to 400 coaches have attended the past two years and the clinic covers an array of topics on offense, defense, special teams, strength and conditioning and program development. This year the keynote speaker is Chuck Priore the Head Coach of Stony Brook University. Coach Priore was also a former player and coach for the University at Albany. Coaches from RPI, PACE, WPI, University at Albany, Cortland and Brockport will also be speaking. In addition, high school coaches from Niskayuna, Schalmont and Troy will be speaking. High School Football Combine Training – 1/16/12

The Premiere Indoor Tackle (PIT) league will be conducting a combine skills and football training session on January 16, 2012 at the Halfmoon Sports Complex.
