Pitts, Barbur, Butler & De Los Santos Named to Class D All-State Team |

Derrick Pitts of Bishop Gibbons, Ben Barbur of Greenwich, and Nate Butler and Mico De Los Santos of Rensselaer were all chosen to the New York State Sportswriters Association Class D All-State team.
All four were selected to the first team -- Pitts at quarterback, Barbur at offensive line, Butler at linebacker, and De Los Santos at defensive back.
Other Section 2 players chosen for All-State honors were:
Second Team -- Caleb Meroski, Lake George (running back); Tim Pompa, Saratoga Catholic (kicker)
Third Team -- Jashem Hamilton, Renssleaer (running back); Ryan McFee, Greenwich (offensive end)
Chris Secky of Maple Grove was named the Class D Player of the Year.
